Mildred Yvonne (Dearborn) Fisher

Mrs. Mildred Y. Fisher, 87, of DeWitt, Iowa, died peacefully Sunday morning, July 9, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

Mildred Yvonne Dearborn was born May 11, 1930, in Clinton County to the late Frank and Blanche (McAllister) Dearborn.  She graduated from DeWitt High School.  Milly married Robert Fisher April 24, 1959, in DeWitt.  The couple resided in DeWitt where they raised their family.  Milly also worked at Ennis Business forms for 20 years, until retirement.  Bob preceded Milly in death August 2, 2001.

She loved her family, reading, flowers and gardening.

Surviving are children, Sherry Simon and Doug (Sandy) Fisher of DeWitt; grandchildren, Brad Simon, Amy (Omar) Hunigan, Derrick Fisher, Daryl Fisher and Andy Fisher; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Simon, Jordan Simon, Maddy Fisher, Alex Fisher and Andy Fisher; siblings, Rich, Judy and Barbara “Bub”.

In addition to her husband and parents, Milly was preceded in death by a brother, Jim.

A family graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.
