We are very sorry to learn of Mrs. Baur’s earthly passing; however, as we learn from 1 Thess 4 - The dead in Christ will rise first and those of us left will meet Him in the air and be with Him forever. Encourage each other with these words.

As Al Rogis stated earlier Mrs. Baur was our High School English and Speech teacher at Calamus. She was very strict and I am very thankful she was because we were able to learn very much from her. Rumplestilskin was the play I remember most.

Her Dad, Ellis, was my Boy Scout Leader and her sister, Alois, was one of my baptismal sponsors, the fourth Sunday of January 1950 at the Norwegian Lutheran Church southeast of Calamus along with Janelle Henning and Donna Olson.

May the Lord bless and keep the family close by His side as we continually mourn for Mardelle’s earthly passing.

Love in Christ,

Don and Sue Petersen

Hi family don't know if u remember me but I was your neighbor in ForestCity. My dad was David Anderson. I was Joni Anderson, Aleta and I were classmates. I saw your Mom's obituary and wanted to tell u how sorry I was. The thing I remember most about your Mom was her beautiful smile and how lucky I was to have her for a teacher.

Our sympathy to Mardelle's family. I (Lu) was a classmate of Mardelle at Calamus High School and I spent many times with her and her family in town. I especially remember her Dad showing us movies of their many trips. Mardelle and I were both good students and enjoyed helping each other and competing in our studies. I have such fond memories!

To the family of Mardelle Mueller Baur: You have our deepest sympathy. May God be with all of you at this sad time.

We are very sorry to learn of Mardelle's passing. I never knew her very well as she was quite a few years older than me. But I do remember her parents Mardelle and her sisters as all being very nice people.
In Sympathy: From Georgine (Petersen) & Jack Schinckel

My condolences to the family. I am honored to say that Mrs. Baur was my English and speech class teacher. I remember all the play practices. She encouraged us to do 101% or more as she also lived by that.
