Donna M. (Mrs. Roland "Ron") Gasper, 72, of Calamus, Iowa, died Wednesday morning, November 18, 2015, at Genesis Medical Center in DeWitt, Iowa.

Donna Marilyn Lingle was born July 28, 1943, in Clinton, Iowa, to Walter "Bud" and Gloria "Sal" (Clark) Lingle.  She was a graduate of Preston High School.  On April 20, 1963, Donna was united in marriage to Ron Gasper in Sabula, Iowa.  The couple resided at rural Calamus where they farmed and raised their sons.  

She enjoyed quilting as well as arts and crafts, camping and time spent with her grandchildren.  

Surviving are her loving husband of 52 years, Ron; sons, Lee (Debbie Engstrom) Gasper and Keith (Tracy) Gasper all of Calamus; grandchildren, Tyler and Connor Gasper; her mother, Sal Lingle of Maquoketa; brothers, Alan Lingle of Maquoketa, Larry (Joan) Lingle of Williamsburg, Iowa, and Clint Lingle of Chicago; nieces and nephews.

Preceding Donna in death was her father.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Schultz Funeral Home, Grand Mound, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 20th and from 9:30 until 10:15 a.m. Saturday, November 21st at Faith Lutheran Church, Calamus.  A Service of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the church with the Rev. William Runaas, Jr. officiating.  Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Grand Mound.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Gasper, Connor Gasper, Cliff Morby, Derek Morby, Eric Gasper, and Randy Styka.  Honorary pallbearers will be Alan, Larry, and Clint Lingle.
