Dolly Rose Vance

Dolly Rose Vance, 88, of Charlotte, Iowa, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016, at Mercy Living Center South in Clinton.

Dolly was born September 12, 1927, to Lester and Hellen (Atherton) Vance in Camanche. She attended school in Goose Lake. Dolly was a homemaker and worked the family farm near Charlotte.

Dolly enjoyed raising horses, fishing, bingo, and family pets. She loved spending time with her granddaughters.

Dolly is survived by her sons, Gary Vance and Terry (Mollie) DeLarm all of Charlotte; granddaughters, Nicole, Stephanie, and Erica DeLarm; and a nephew, Jerry Vance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Delila Rickertsen, a brother, Merle Vance, and a niece Debbie Vance.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2016, at Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt with a Funeral Service following at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery, DeWitt.
