Howard Frederick Stuedemann, of Atascadero, California, formerly of Elvira, Iowa, passed away on July 23, 2012 at age 87.
Howard is survived by his three children, Tambi of Woodland, California, Steveann and husband, Trevor Stephens of British Columbia, and Scott and wife, Lisa, and their children, Jordan, Jared, Lauren of Paso Robles, California.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dona of forty-three years from Clinton, Iowa, and three brothers, Earl, Lawrence and Walter Stuedemann.
Howard made California his home after being stationed at Travis Air Force Base during the Korean War, subsequently graduating from California Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural engineering. He was employed as Director of the San Luis Obispo County office of the United States Department of Agriculture for twenty-five years. He retired in 1990 to pursue work on his ranch in Paso Robles.
