She was born Roberta Marion Noseworthy, December 14, 1936, in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, to John Aubrey Lewellan and Isabelle Marion (Smith) Noseworthy. Marion married Larry J. DePover, March 17, 1956 at Ernest Harman Air Force Base, Stephanville, Newfoundland, Canada. She worked as a tour guide at the Buffalo Bill Cody Homestead, rural McCausland, and as coordinator for weddings held at Old St. Ann's Church, Long Grove, Iowa.

Marion was a Center For Active Senior's volunteer, helped at the McCausland Meal Site and was a teacher's aid with the Davenport School System as well as a Five Gallon Blood Donor. She loved most animals-cats, dogs and especially horses, camping, visiting relatives, reading romantic novels and watching television mysteries.

Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, Larry; her twin sister, Alice (Earl) Muma of Charlevoix, Michigan; nieces and nephews as well as other relatives back home in Newfoundland.

Preceding Marion in death were her parents and a daughter, Diana Lea (DePover) Nesseler.

Visitation will be held at Our Savior Presbyterian Church, Argo, from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 10, 2012. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2012, in the Church.
