Douglas Schultz was recently honored at the Iowa Funeral Director’s Convention in Ames, Iowa for 40 years in funeral service. Doug and his wife, Pat continue  working at their funeral homes in Grand Mound and DeWitt.  They are happy to have their son-in-law and daughter, Ray and Sarah Ackerman helping them in the family business.  Ray has been a funeral director for nearly 23 years, holding licenses in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. Recently J and Jeannette Erickson have joined the firm. J is a licensed funeral director and Jeannette will be entering DMACC Mortuary Science Program in the fall to become a funeral director also.  We are happy to have David Schanze, Tom Casad, Patti Waack, Ruth Walrod, Jodie Overkamp, Mary Rupp and Cathy Paarmann to complete the staff helping them with visitations and funerals.
